Currently, foreign companies have already established production of low formaldehyde-emitting urea-formaldehyde adhesives in China, along with large-scale wood processing plants.

II. Hot Melt Adhesives

This type of adhesive does not use organic solvents, and it is characterized by rapid application and good bonding effects. It is the fastest-growing adhesive type in China in recent years and is also a future development direction. In addition to traditional EVA hot melt adhesives, China also urgently needs to develop new varieties of polyester and polyamide hot melt adhesives.

III. Polyurethane Adhesives

IV. Silicone Adhesives

In developed countries, silicone sealants are mainly used for building sealing. In the next few years, silicone sealants will also become the dominant type of building sealant in China.

V. High-Performance Epoxy Resins

Epoxy resin adhesives for the electronics industry and epoxy structural adhesives for the construction industry have high production technical difficulty and poor quality of domestic products, currently mainly relying on imports.

VI. Automotive PVC Plastisol Adhesives

PVC plastisol adhesives are the main sealing adhesives used in automobiles, accounting for about 1/3 of China's automotive adhesives. The current annual demand is approximately 10,000 tons. With the development of China's automotive industry, especially the passenger car industry, PVC plastisol adhesives will have broad development prospects.

PVC adhesives have a very wide range of applications, suitable for bonding hard PVC products, such as bonding PVC boards in chemical, thermal power, and electroplating tanks, bonding PVC wire and cable pipes and water, steam, and oil pipe joints, and bonding in the plastics toy industry, PVC artificial leather, PVC tarpaulins and raincoats, and PVC flooring. They are also suitable for cross-bonding of ABS, acrylic, AS, polystyrene, PBT, PPO, and PC materials. They are also used for sealing and repairing seams in automobile compartments and bodies, sealing gaps in parts, fans, and air conditioners, providing shock absorption, anti-corrosion, leak prevention, noise reduction, and anti-staining functions.
