I. Characteristics of Composite Fabrics

Composite fabrics utilize the high technology and new materials of "New Synthetic Fiber", possessing many excellent properties (compared to ordinary synthetic fibers), such as delicate, refined, elegant, and warm fabric appearance, full fabric appearance, windproof, breathable, and certain waterproof functions. Its main characteristics are warmth and good breathability.

Because composite fabrics use ultrafine fibers, the fabric has a high cleaning ability, i.e., stain removal ability. Another characteristic of this fabric is its good wear resistance. Ultrafine fiber fabrics are soft, breathable, and moisture-permeable, so they have obvious advantages in terms of touch and physiological comfort. The crease resistance of ultrafine fiber fabrics is poor (this is because the fibers are soft and have poor elasticity recovery after creasing); in order to overcome this shortcoming, the "composite" process is adopted, which greatly improves the poor crease resistance of ultrafine fiber fabrics.

II. Classification of Composite Fabrics

1. Composite of woven and knitted fabrics

2. Composite of knitted fabrics and knitted fabrics

3. Composite of woven fabrics and woven fabrics

III. Ordinary Composite Fabrics

The fabric and lining are bonded together with an adhesive to improve the texture of the fabric, simplifying the process and enabling large-scale production for garment processing.

IV. Functional Composite Fabrics

The laminated fabric has special functions such as waterproof and breathable, anti-radiation, washable, and wear-resistant. (Crosslinking agent used in PVC composite fabric, crosslinking agent manufacturer, environmentally friendly crosslinking agent)

V. Composite Fabric Processes

Six popular composite processes internationally: hot melt adhesive powder dot coating composite process, hot melt adhesive paste dot composite process, hot melt adhesive powder scattering composite process, hot melt adhesive double-dot composite process, polyurethane spraying composite process, polyurethane roller coating composite process. Composite fabrics are a relatively new type of fabric developed by the market; in short, it is a fabric made by combining two fabrics together.

Previously, the more common composite was the composite of suede fabric and wool fabric. Nowadays, any fabric can be used for composite. The width of the composite fabric is limited to the size before the two fabrics are combined, generally up to 145CM.

VI. Maintenance of Composite Fabrics

After the composite process, the fabric cannot be recombined. Even if materials are used for separation, it will greatly affect the yarn of the fabric, making it harder and easier to be punctured by needles when sewing garments. Since the adhesive used in the film bonding is a chemical material, it will have a certain physical reaction to nylon fabrics. Therefore, it is recommended to use polyester fabrics, which can effectively control the color of the fabric before and after the composite process, and also have a certain impact on water pressure resistance and breathability.
