Polyether polyols are polymeric or oligomeric alcohols containing ether bonds in the main chain structure and hydroxyl groups at the ends. Due to the lower cohesive energy of the ether bonds in their structure and their ease of rotation, polyurethane materials prepared from them exhibit good low-temperature flexibility and excellent hydrolysis resistance. Although their mechanical properties are not as good as those of polyester polyol-based polyurethanes, they have a good feel. They have low system viscosity, are easily miscible with isocyanates, additives, and other components, and have excellent processing properties.
