RF-216(UN488) is a solvent-free, one-component coating PVC and TPU crosslinking agent. It is independently developed by our company and is an environmentally friendly crosslinking agent suitable for PVC and TPU. It meets EU environmental requirements and is a P-free product, currently considered one of the most environmentally friendly products globally.

II. Product Characteristics

1. Used to improve the adhesion of PVC and TPU sol-gel coated polyester or polyamide aromatic fiber substrates.

2. UN488 has particularly strong activity. In PVC and TPU sol-gel coatings, it can control the duration of the sol-gel coating and substrate reaction (i.e., the service life of the finished product). Currently, the maximum controllable reaction time is 60 months, and for outdoor products, it can be controlled for over 120 months.

3. Application range: Suitable for the production of high-end products such as tarpaulins, canvas, inflatable cushions, inflatable boats, inflatable kayaks, and stretch fabrics.

4. This product exhibits excellent crosslinking characteristics and controllable effects on the softness, tear strength, peel strength, and open time of the product.

5. This product is particularly sensitive to moisture and acids. Therefore, it must be stored in the original container in a cool, ventilated place at 5-35 degrees Celsius. It can be stored for over 12 months.

6. Stir well before use.

7. The test results of this product meet the limit requirements of the amendment to the EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU Annex II and (EU) 2015/863.

Open time: Generally up to 72h in summer and 168h in winter
