I. Product Description
TP-120P(Ⅱ) is a solvent-free, single-component PVC crosslinking agent. It meets the environmental requirements of the EU RoHS directive and the 12P environmental requirements.
II. Product Characteristics
1. Used to improve the adhesion of PVC plastisol coatings to substrates made of polyester or polyamide aromatic fiber, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coated fabrics, etc.
2. TP-120P(Ⅱ) is particularly active. In PVC plastisol coatings, it controls the duration of the plastisol coating and substrate bonding (i.e., the service life of the end product). Currently, the maximum reaction time can reach 60 months, and up to 90 months for outdoor products.
3. Application range: Suitable for the production of high-end products such as tarpaulins, canvas, inflatable cushions, inflatable boats, kayaks, and coated fabrics.
4. This product exhibits excellent crosslinking characteristics and controllable effects on softness, tear strength, peel strength, and open time.
5. This product is particularly sensitive to moisture and acids. Therefore, it must be stored in the original container in a cool, ventilated place at 5-30 degrees Celsius. The shelf life is 12 months.
6. The test results of this product meet the limit requirements of the EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU Annex II amendment and (EU) 2015/863.
III. Physical Properties
Appearance: White or slightly yellow emulsion, almost colorless, transparent liquid.
Solid content: 86.6 (%) Specific gravity: 900 (kg/m³)
Viscosity: 500-5000 (mPa·s)
NCO content: 5.01 PH value: 7.7
Peel strength: With 3% addition, it can reach 158N
Open time: Generally up to 72h in summer and 168h in winter
Hardness: Soft Gloss: High gloss
