Product Details

I. Product Description

VP-016P(Ⅰ) is a solvent-free, single-component TPU crosslinking agent. It is independently developed by our company and is an environmentally friendly crosslinking agent suitable for TPU and PVC products. It meets EU environmental requirements, is P-free, and is currently one of the most environmentally friendly products globally.

II. Product Characteristics

1. Primarily used to improve the adhesion of TPU and PVC sol coatings to substrates made of polyester or polyamide aramid fibers, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coated fabrics, ultra-suede, genuine leather, etc.

2. VP-016P(Ⅰ) exhibits particularly strong activity. In TPU and PVC sol coatings, it controls the duration of the sol coating and substrate bonding (i.e., the service life of the end product). Currently, the maximum reaction time can reach 60 months, and up to 120 months for outdoor products.

3. Extremely wide range of applications: Suitable for tarpaulins, canvas, inflatable cushions, mattresses, inflatable boats, surfboards, kayaks, stretch fabrics, children's toy fabrics, swimming pool fabrics, and is excellent for various high-end products such as food conveyor belts.

4. This product exhibits excellent crosslinking characteristics and controllable effects on softness, tear strength, peel strength, and open time.

5. This product is particularly sensitive to moisture and acids. Therefore, it must be stored in the original container in a cool, ventilated place at 5-30 degrees Celsius. The shelf life is 12 months.

6. Stir well in the slurry before use.

7. It is best to stir the crosslinking agent evenly into the slurry (masterbatch) before the machine operation.

8. Based on the test results of the submitted samples, the test results for cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), and phthalates (such as dibutyl phthalate (DBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)) meet the limit requirements of the amended directive of EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU Annex | and (EU) 2015/863.

Appearance: White or slightly yellow emulsion, almost colorless, transparent liquid.

Peel strength: With 3% addition, it can reach 165N

Open time: Generally up to 72h in summer and 168h in winter

Hardness: Soft Gloss: Bright
